You have all been asking me to share a guacamole recipe that I personally love, so here it is. It is not traditional but made accordingly to what I love and my taste buds. I have a few beautiful friends on here from Mexico that messaged me their best tips. If I had some Tajin on hand I would definitely add a sprinkle of that too. Feel free to use red onions (I didn’t have any) or even garlic as some people love. Tomatoes are optional of course and totally up to you. You will need:

Course Appetizer, Salad

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1 jalapeño
  • 1 roma tomato seedless
  • salt to taste
  • 1 small lime
  • cilantro or parsley to taste

  • Mash your avocados and add in the rest of your ingredients.
  • If you can’t handle any heat make sure you take out the jalapeño seeds or use finely diced green pepper instead (1/4 cup).
  • Mix everything together and enjoy.

Please Note : I love using a mortar and pestle but you can use a fork to mash it too. Tajin is optional like I mentioned above. Feel free to make it according to what you prefer.
